Microspace Celebrates Successful New Satellite Launch
SES 3 Satellite will support Microspace customers for the next two decades
At approximately 7:15pm EST on Friday, July 15th SES World Skies successfully launched SES 3 on an ILS PROTON rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome located approximately 1300 miles southeast of Moscow. SES 3 is an ORBITAL SCIENCES Star 2.4E bird that will ultimately reside in the 103 degree West orbital slot.
The satellite will be used by Microspace Communications to serve existing and future clients with its CONUS Ku Band footprint.
