Microspace Powers DrinksTV Beverage Digital Signage Network

Satellite Delivery of Customized Beverage Content to Reach over 1,000 stores in 2007


Raleigh, NC – April 17, 2007 – Microspace Communications Corporation (Microspace), the leading satellite services provider for digital signage, today announced that Kyle Private Networks (KPN) has selected the VELOCITY digital signage satellite solution to power DrinksTV, a digital signage network for beverage retailers. The network is expected to reach over 1,000 stores by the end of 2007. The full solution will be demonstrated at NAB 2007 in the Microspace booth #C6244.

DrinksTV.com is the largest multimedia platform and in-store television network for the beverage industry providing programming for the beer, wine and spirits retailer, advertiser and consumer. The VELOCITY digital signage satellite solution is integrated with the Real Digital Media offering, to integrate both satellite and terrestrial capabilities. DrinksTV programming includes drink recipes that are designed to influence the purchase of premium brands. Also included are short entertaining segments featuring such topics as the latest drink trends, party tips, trivia and more. Programming is updated weekly and reaches over 33 million consumers on an annual basis.
